The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, on the sidelines of his participation in the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement within the framework of the delegation led by the Prime Minister, Nazir Al-Arbawi, held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Palestine, Tunisia, Yemen, Azerbaijan and Chad, according to what This was reported by a statement from the Ministry.

Regarding the bilateral talks that brought him together with his Yemeni counterpart, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, they were “dedicated to discussing developments in the crisis in this brotherly country and ways for Algeria, from its position in the Security Council, to contribute to supporting the political path sponsored by the United Nations in this framework on the basis of the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.” He also added It was stated in the statement.

With his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, “the upcoming benefits and ways to employ them to serve the priorities of bilateral cooperation in the political and economic fields were reviewed,” the same source added.

In conclusion, during his meeting with his Chadian counterpart, Mohamed Saleh Nazif, “the two ministers agreed on the necessity of optimal preparation for the next session of the Joint Committee for Cooperation and to work to add new momentum to the historical and deep-rooted relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.”
