Hamas representative in Algeria: “The Hague Court’s decision on Gaza is a step in the right direction” – Algerian Dialogue

The representative of the Hamas movement in Algeria, Youssef Hamdan, stated that the Hague Court’s decision on Gaza is a step in the right direction, and we also look forward to a more Algerian role in the Security Council.

Youssef Hamdan added, “The Hamas movement views the decision with interest and anticipation. It is also a step in the right direction, and the occupation is appearing before this court legally and morally because it is an occupation that flouts international law, and today we are in an open battle with it from all sides.”

It is noteworthy that the International Court of Justice had recognized the right of the Palestinians in Gaza to protection from acts of genocide, stressing that the conditions are available to impose temporary measures on the occupation.
