These are the developments of the “Great Museum of Africa” ​​project in Algeria – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

The Ministry of Culture and Arts, under the supervision of Soria Moulouji, and in the framework of preparations for the launch of the continental project “The Great Museum of Africa” that will be built in Algeria, in her capacity as the chair of the executive and advisory committee for the project, a meeting to plan the launch of the temporary site of the Great Museum of Africa in Algeria, and the high-level continental forum on the restoration of Heritage Resources and the Continental Exhibition, with the participation of executives from the Ministry of Culture and Arts and institutions under tutelage, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the national community abroad, representatives of the African Union Commission and experts in this field.

The representative of the Ministry affirmed, during the opening of the two-day meeting, the commitment of the country’s higher authorities, headed by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to provide all the facilities and capabilities necessary to complete the project as soon as possible, especially because of its strategic weight for Algeria and Africa in general. .

For their part, the participants unanimously agreed on the importance of this African Museum and the role it will play in order to preserve and value African memory, art and cultural heritage. During the meeting, I learned to schedule a visit for the participants to the temporary headquarters of the project.
