During a tribute ceremony in honor of retired judges from supreme court And the deceased, it was held at the “Abdel Latif Rahal” International Conference Center on the occasion of the celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the inauguration of the Supreme Court. Mr. Tabbi revealed in his speech the decision of the President of the Republic, President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to grant some retired judges the title “Honorary judge“, “In accordance with what is stipulated in Article 93 of the Basic Law of the Judiciary, which is a first precedent in history Algerian judiciary“.
The Minister also praised this honor and considered it the simplest thing that could be done by the President towards the ladies and gentlemen judges in exchange for what they provided to serve justice throughout their professional careers.”
He pointed out that consecrating these judicial traditions is evidence of the importance that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune attaches to the judiciary and a strong message from him of his appreciation for the judicial authority and his motivation and encouragement for its members.

The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, confirmed that the comprehensive reform and modernization of justice, and the establishment of electronic justice, are among the most prominent priorities and concerns of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

In his speech during his supervision of the celebration ceremony for the 60th anniversary of the inauguration of the Supreme Court, organized at the International Conference Center “Abdul Latif Rahal” under the slogan: “Towards an Electronic Supreme Court,” Mr. Tabbi explained that “comprehensive reform of justice to ensure its independence, modernization, and consecration of electronic justice were among the most prominent topics.” The presidential program is within its priorities and interests,” highlighting the President of the Republic’s keenness to “give justice all the frameworks and means that enable it to confront the challenges that the world is witnessing today with its rapid and complex transformations.”

He considered that this concern “impels the judiciary, through its effectiveness, to listen to the citizen’s concerns, provide him with judicial security, settle his disputes within reasonable deadlines, and guarantee his right to a fair trial and equality before the law, as well as spreading reassurance in society, preserving its entity, and dealing with emerging issues characterized by diversity and complexity with all professionalism, because The judiciary – as he said – is the lever of any transformation in society and the regulator of all its transactions.
