The first session of the Algerian-Qatari consultations is held – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Sunday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, with his Qatari counterpart, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Hammadi, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Lounas Mukarman, chaired the first session of political consultations between the two countries, within the framework of activating the contents of the relevant memorandum of understanding, signed on the occasion of the state visit. Which the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, delivered to Qatar in February 2022.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Lounas Mukarman, made a visit to Qatar, where he chaired today with his Qatari counterpart, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, the first session of political consultations between the two countries, in the Qatari capital, Doha, within the framework of Activating the contents of the relevant memorandum of understanding, signed on the occasion of the state visit made by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to Qatar in February 2022.

This session represented an opportunity to praise the momentum and momentum witnessed by the political relations between the two brotherly countries and the continuous development reflected in the numerous official visits exchanged by the leaders of the two countries in recent years.

In this context, the two sides reviewed the reality of the distinguished bilateral relations at various levels, especially political, economic and investment, as well as the means to further deepen and advance them, in anticipation of the holding of the sixth session of the Algerian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee.

These political consultations also provided an opportunity to exchange views and analyzes on many regional and international issues of common interest, most notably the Palestinian issue and the situation in the Sahel, Libya and Sudan, which resulted in a consensus in the views of both parties.
