The Culture and Arts Sector of the state of Skikda launched a plastic art competition on “Algerian Heritage”, within the framework of the activities of the Heritage Month.
The competition, which bears the slogan “Our Heritage is Our Identity”, which was initiated and organized by the National Office for the Management and Exploitation of Protected Cultural Properties, aims to discover young talents and spread awareness and interest in the importance of heritage among young people, in addition to protecting it and proving its African extensions.
This competition is open to young people between the ages of 16 and 35 years, and that the theme of the work or drawing is specific to the Algerian heritage, with the need to respect the standards of paintings and plastic drawing techniques.
All completed works will be presented, evaluated, and the winners of the first three places will be selected on May 13th in the main library for public reading in downtown Skikda, as indicated.
