The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated the national handball team after its double qualification to the World Cup and the final of the African Championship.
President Tebboune wrote in a post on his official page on the Facebook platform: “Congratulations to the national handball team for its double qualification to the World Cup and the final of the African Championship…”
He added: “Thank you for this achievement that you have given to Algerian men and women, which obliges the concerned officials to put all the capabilities in the hands of this team in the present and in the future to maintain its level… I wish you all the success in the final, God willing.”
It is noteworthy that the Algerian handball team had a fiery match with the Egyptian national team in the final of the African Cup of Nations, after defeating Cape Verde with a score of (32-26) on Thursday evening.
