A cooperation and partnership agreement for the Sahrawi Workers Union with the Spanish “LAB” union

Today, Tuesday, the Union of Sakia El Hamra and Oued Eddahab Workers signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the Spanish “LAB” union, aiming to deepen areas of cooperation in the future between the two organizations.
It was reported that the agreement was signed on the Sahrawi side by the Secretary-General of the Union of Sahrawi Workers, Salama Al-Bashir, and on the Spanish side by the Secretary-General, Carpenia, at the headquarters of the “LAB” union in Nabara Province.
Salama Al-Bashir, who was accompanied by the representative of the Polisario Front in Nabara, Hamdi Mansour, and the person in charge of international relations and cooperation at the Sahrawi Workers Union, Almamy Abeidi, praised the “excellent relations that have linked the two unions for decades,” reviewing at the same time the reality of the Sahrawi labor movement since its founding in the 1970s.
In his speech on the occasion, Hamdi Mansour informed the audience of the various details of the Sahrawi national struggle and resistance over the past decades.
The meeting was characterized by an in-depth and open discussion on various issues of concern to labor and union solidarity and the major tasks awaiting the two organizations in the near future.
