The Algerian parliamentary delegation boycotts the speech of the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union due to his explicit bias towards the occupation – Algerian Dialogue

On Monday, the joint parliamentary delegation between the two chambers of the Algerian Parliament left the meeting hall, during the opening of the work of the 147th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Luanda (Angola), in protest against the bias of the President of the Union, Duarte Pacheco, exposed in his speech towards the Zionist occupation, and the heinous crimes it is committing in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The joint parliamentary delegation between the two chambers of the Algerian Parliament (the National Assembly and the National People’s Assembly), along with the delegations of the Arab Parliament, Palestine, Kuwait and Iran, left the meeting hall, while the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Duarte Pacheco, delivered his opening speech in protest against the blatant bias it contained towards the Zionist occupation. The Algerian parliamentary delegation joined the meeting hall again, to listen to the speech delivered by João Lourenço, President of the friendly Republic of Angola.
