President Tebboune offers his condolences on the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah

The President of the Republic, Abdel Majeed Tebboune, sent a message of condolence to Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the sisterly State of Kuwait, on the death of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, this is the text of the condolence:

“I was saddened by what happened to us, the distinguished Al-Sabah family, and the brotherly Kuwaiti people, with the transfer of His Highness the Emir of the sisterly State of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the side of the Lord of Glory.

“With his passing, we bid farewell to a dear, gallant brother, one of the builders of the elegance and glory of the country of goodness and development, on whose land he led the Al-Sabah family on a victorious march that elevated our brothers in Kuwait to distinguished ranks in sustainable development and decent living under the umbrella of wisdom and insight that surrounded the daughters and sons of the sister State of Kuwait with care. She was keen to play honest and honorable roles towards the issues of the Arab and Islamic nation.

History records our dear deceased Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the honorable Al-Sabah family as the white hand extended in efforts to reunite and mend rifts… and the generous, benevolent efforts throughout the Arab world… and throughout the Islamic nation.

In the face of the affliction of the Almighty God, and His irreversible decree, I address with great emotion and deep sorrow to you, to the entire Al-Sabah family, and to the brotherly Kuwaiti people, with my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy.

I pray with you to the Lord of Glory to take care of you all with patience, tranquility and contentment. And that the deceased joins the group of those who came before him from the righteous predecessors of the Al-Sabah family, content and satisfactory in the Garden of Contentment, with the two truthful ones, the martyrs, the righteous, and the good companions of those.. May God reward you greatly.”

It is noteworthy that the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers summoned on Saturday Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, after the death of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
