National Immigration Day: The President of the Republic praises the high patriotic spirit of Algerians in the diaspora – Algerian Dialogue

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, today, Monday, praised the high patriotic spirit of the daughters and sons of Algeria in the diaspora, their zeal for their country, and their standing at every national entitlement, on all occasions, and in the face of all circumstances, the position of honorable patriots.

The President of the Republic said in a message on the occasion of National Migration Day, commemorating the massacres of October 17, 1961: “In this opportunity, in which I address you, the members of the community everywhere, with my greetings and in which I pray for mercy for the souls of the victims of that painful day and for the souls of the righteous martyrs, I pay tribute to the high patriotic spirit that you possess.” It includes the daughters and sons of Algeria in the diaspora.”

He added that this patriotic spirit “is attested by their contributions to confronting the lies and frenzied campaigns fueled by suspicious and hostile agendas against Algeria, at a time when our country has made unprecedented strides to build a new Algeria, in which we pledged before our proud people to establish its institutional bases and economic launch, and made it a mission to preserve the dignity of the citizen and uphold it.” The matter of the nation is a priority.”

He pointed out that the celebration of National Immigration Day is “a milestone expressing our pride in the epics of our national history and a pause in which we renew the covenant with the martyrs who sacrificed their blood for the homeland and in which we consolidate loyalty to the glories of the resistors and freedom fighters who made Algeria’s legacy of struggle from its ancient history until the liberation revolution a source of inspiration for successive generations.”

In the same context, the President of the Republic renewed “the state’s constant keenness to take care of the affairs of our community in all parts of the world, especially by recruiting our diplomatic and consular representations to upgrade the most effective mechanisms for taking care of the needs of members of our community, and to consolidate the gains that have been achieved in their favor in recent years, by ensuring closeness to them.” Listening to their concerns and coordinating with the authorized authorities in state institutions to follow up and address them seriously and within reasonable deadlines.”
