An Egyptian player causes panic in “Alexandria Stadium” – New Algeria

This required the immediate intervention of the Future Club’s medical staff to provide support to the player. Before the ambulance enters the field, the player is quickly transported to the nearest hospital to receive treatment.

The beautiful thing is that after the player left, Al-Ittihad fans demanded an end to the match. This is what actually happened, as the referee resumed the confrontation for a few minutes, before blowing his whistle, declaring the two teams tied without goals.

Al-Ittihad Alexandria fans also took another remarkable initiative, after they marched vigorously towards the hospital where the player was, in order to check on his health, at a time when Egyptian press reports confirmed that the player’s condition began to improve and he was breathing normally, after suffering a heart attack.

Regarding the player’s health condition, the Modern Club issued a statement FutureToday, Tuesday, an official statement was issued in this regard, and the text of the statement read: “Modern Future has been following up in the last hours. The state of concern and sadness for all Egyptian football officials and fans over the health condition of the team’s star, Ahmed Refaat, after his sudden collapse. In the Al-Ittihad Alexandria league match.”

He added, “The player suffered from cardiac arrest for more than an hour, despite all resuscitation attempts by the medical staff.” In a hospital in Alexandria before things improved and the pulse returned.
