Algerian competencies abroad: We are ready to contribute our expertise in building and change – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Algeria relies on the members of its community abroad, in order to achieve development in the country as well as support the path of change in all fields, by transferring their experiences, expertise and knowledge. Hence the initiative of the Algerian Club for Excellence and High Competencies to gather the most important Algerian competencies abroad.

Algerian competencies met during a study day organized by the Algerian Club for Excellence and High Competencies at the Palace of Conferences Abdellatif Rahal in the Club des Pins, to discuss the best ways to involve them in developing a program that would be worthy of placing Algeria on the track of international progress in various fields, given the success of a number of Algerian names in the diaspora from Occupying important positions at the top of the most important global bodies in various disciplines.

The forum, in its first edition, was a great opportunity for Algerians in the Diaspora to present their expertise in the disciplines in which they excelled with international recognition, which requires the Algerian authorities to work to exploit these capabilities to build a new Algeria, especially since they have shown their willingness to provide everything necessary to contribute to national development.

Accordingly, the sessions known by the Algerian Competencies Forum abroad, organized at the beginning of this week, were rich in content through the diversity of interventions that touched various fields, so that the participants came out with the need to exchange experiences, knowledge and opportunities for cooperation between them, in the hope that this type of initiative will multiply in the future. With an emphasis on the need for the Algerian authorities to provide the necessary facilities for these, which allows the re-creation of trust between the two parties.

Participants in the first national symposium for Algerian competencies residing abroad stressed the importance of creating an environment that attracts the Algerian expatriate abroad to participate in the comprehensive development plans that the country knows.

During the symposium, which came under the title “Algerian competencies residing abroad: the pillar of national development”, in the presence of many Algerian competencies, their experiences and future projects that they hope to embody in Algeria were reviewed.

In his intervention during the opening of this symposium, the Director General of National Competencies Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mohamed Saudi, confirmed the keenness of the higher authorities in the country to attract Algerian competencies abroad as the greatest capital and the source from which the country draws to transfer knowledge, expertise and knowledge.

In the same context, a Saudi revealed preparations to launch a cooperation project that embodies the participation of Algerian competencies abroad in the field, according to the competence of each group, so that civil society can assume its true position in cooperation with official efforts.

In the same context, representatives of official bodies, according to media reports, expressed their readiness to learn about the ideas of Algerian competencies and benefit from their experience, especially since they have proven their competencies and left their mark in foreign countries of residence.

On the occasion, a number of Algerian competencies residing abroad reviewed their experiences through three sessions related to digital transformation, artificial intelligence, energy and environmental security, as well as health, food and water security.

In this context, Dr. Nasreddine Belkacem, at the University of Dubai, touched on the future of the smart brain-computer interface in improving the lives of the disabled and the elderly through artificial intelligence and translating brain signals into commands.

For his part, Dr. Amin bin Saed, who resides in Qatar and is one of the supervisors on the digital side in preparing the activities of the Qatar World Cup 2022, explained ways to win the bets of digital transformation in transport, logistics and field management.

Algerian competencies abroad: an evaluation session

In an evaluation session for the national symposium held, the organizing staff of the Algerian Club for Excellence and High Competencies at the International Conference Center Abdel Latif Rahal gathered at the Pin Club. The attendees discussed the various organizational aspects and preparation for the future stages of the club, especially how to activate the outcomes of the symposium at the national level and abroad.

The works also focused on the positive echo achieved by the symposium, given the rich content that dazzled the participants and observers in terms of the scientific level that characterizes the Algerian competencies residing abroad.
