The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Mr. Sayed Ali Zerrougui, conducted a field visit that led him to both the General Directorate of the Algeria Telecom Corporation for mobile phones and the General Directorate of the Algeria Post Corporation, according to what was reported, today, Friday, in a statement by the Ministry.
During this visit, which he made yesterday, Thursday, the Minister followed up on presentations on the status of implementation of the projects currently being completed at the level of the two institutions, as well as their future projects, where he urged those in charge of them to “continue intensifying the mobile communications network, especially by covering black spots.”
He also stressed the importance of “increasing the flow of the fourth generation network, intensifying it, and improving the quality of service, in addition to reducing the time of interruption through rapid intervention, for the Mobilis Corporation,” the statement adds.
On the other hand – the same source continues – Mr. Zerrougui highlighted the necessity of “improving the quality of postal services provided to citizens, especially by relying on digital solutions for Algeria Post, and making it at the core of the institution’s strategy.”
