Urgent…the largest recruitment process for university elites since independence – New Algeria

The higher education and scientific research sector has witnessed the largest recruitment process for professors holding master’s and doctoral degrees since independence, which reflects the great interest and efforts of the Algerian state in this category of scientific elite.

The exceptional process to accommodate and absorb unemployment from holders of these certificates came in accordance with the recommendations of the outcomes of the Council of Ministers held on May 14, 2023 and as an embodiment of the pledges of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who made valuing the profession of university professor and researcher and improving their status a priority that must be achieved in the new Algeria.
