Two cooperation agreements between the Universities of Oran 1 and 2 and the “Sofal” Foundation for the Pharmaceutical Industry – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Two cooperation agreements have been concluded between the Universities of Oran 1 “Ahmed Ben Bella” and Oran 2 “Mohammed Ben Ahmed” and the private institution “Sofal” for the pharmaceutical industry, including scientific research, technological development and pedagogical supervision, according to what was learned on Wednesday by the Director of the Regional Conference of Western Universities, Professor Plaska Ismail. .

The two agreements were concluded yesterday, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Sofal Foundation in the activities area of ​​the municipality of Hassi Ben Okba, in the presence of officials of the two universities and the director of the same institution, and they are the two agreements that stipulate cooperation and coordination in fields of common interest, according to the same source.

It is expected that the initiative will allow the foundation’s laboratories to be opened to students and professors of the two universities, to organize field trainings for students, and to open the laboratories of the two universities and their structures for the executives and employees of “Sofal” to develop applied research in the field of the pharmaceutical industry and to find solutions to the problems encountered by the foundation’s executives during their work, in addition to ensuring the formation and reskilling of workers and employees in the field. Various fields, Professor Plaska adds.

He added that the officials of the “Sofal” institution showed special interest in the field of work of the Institute of Maintenance and Industrial Security at the University of Oran 2 “Mohamed Ben Ahmed” and the Department of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oran 1 “Ahmed Ben Bella” in addition to some departments in the two universities.
