Twinning between the University of Oran 2 and the Libyan University of Sabratha – New Algeria
Signed on agreement Twinning between the University of Oran 2 “Mohamed Bin Ahmed” and Sabratha, Libya, within the framework of enhancing cooperation, especially in the field of exchanging professors and teaching foreign languages.
It was signed by Professor Ahmed Shaalal, and on behalf of the Libyan University of Sabratha, its president, Professor Salem Muhammad Al-Harisi, on the sidelines of the opening of the international forum on “Accounting and Sustainable Development: What about the challenges of tomorrow.”
According to Professor Ahmed Shaalal’s statements on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, under this agreement, expertise and professors will be exchanged, as Sabratha University needs our expertise and professors, especially in the specializations of foreign languages, geology, and industrial security.”
He said: “We will try, later, to come up with joint research units, especially in anthropology, sociology, and political science, so that there is communication between researchers from the two countries,” stressing the need to continue this cooperation and expand it to other universities.
As for president Sabratha University, which includes 22 colleges and more than 16,000 students, stressed for his part that “this agreement will establish the rules for scientific and student exchange between the two universities, and through it we will seek to hold joint scientific conferences and exchange professors between the two universities.”
