Traffic accidents…6 people died and 245 others were injured on the second day of Eid – New Algeria

units Protection Civil Affairs conducted 169 interventions as a result of incidents recorded across several states. These incidents resulted in the death of 06 people and the injury of 245 others with various injuries of varying severity.

Where it registered heaviest outcome At the level of the state of Batna, 03 people died and 04 others were injured as a result of 02 traffic accidents. The first accident was a car overturn that occurred at the level of National Road No. 03, the municipality of Ain Al-Yaqout, which led to the death of 02 people and the injury of 04 others with various injuries. The second accident was represented by A person was run over by a truck in the place called Mashta to Al-Jazzar Municipality Clinics. The victims were transferred to local hospital institutions.

In addition to this, civil protection services intervened in the case of 02 cases of drowning deaths. The first case was recorded at the level of Annaba state: a 23-year-old young man died by drowning on a beach forbidden for swimming in a rocky area called Jnan El Bey, Saraidi municipality. The victim was transferred to Annaba Hospital. The second case was recorded at the level of Djelfa Province: It concerns a 25-year-old person who died by drowning in a water barrier in the place called Ouled Mubarak, Banhar municipality. The victim was transferred to Ain Ou Sarah Hospital.

Also, during the same period in several states of the country, the firefighting apparatus for forests, bushes, agricultural crops and palm trees extinguished 50 fires, including: 04 forest fires, 03 jungle fires, 16 bush fires, 13 agricultural crop fires, 07 fruit tree fires, 04 hay belt fires and 03 palm tree fires. Rapid intervention made it possible to control these fires and prevent their spread, as well as saving many areas of vegetation and agricultural crops.
