Thwarting attempts to introduce processed quintals of kif across the border with Morocco – New Algeria

Detachments thwarted National Army Al-Shaabi attempted to bring (102) kilograms of processed kif across the border with Morocco, and seized (500,519) hallucinogenic tablets.

Operational outcome of the People’s National Army from May 29 to June 4, 2024

In the context of the continuing efforts exerted in combating terrorism and combating organized crime in all its forms, units and detachments of the People’s National Army carried out, during the period from May 29 to June 4, 2024, many operations that resulted in qualitative results that reflect the extent of the high professionalism, constant vigilance and readiness of our armed forces throughout National territory:

– Arrest of (03) members of support for terrorist groups during separate operations across the national territory. Detachments of the People’s National Army

Fighting organized crime

– The arrest of (71) drug dealers by joint detachments of the National People’s Army, in coordination with various security services, during operations across the military regions.

– Thwarting attempts to bring (102) kilograms of processed kif across the border with Morocco.

– (500519) hallucinogenic tablets were seized.

– Arresting (245) people and seizing (37) vehicles, (215) electric generators, (137) hammers, and (11) metal detectors.

– (13) other people were arrested and (06) hunting rifles, (17,142) liters of fuel, (64) tons of foodstuffs destined for smuggling and speculation, and (58) quintals of tobacco were seized during separate operations across the national territory.

– Arrest of (171) illegal immigrants of different nationalities across the national territory.
