This is what the Minister of Agriculture said about bran prices and deterrent measures for speculators

Today, Tuesday, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, accompanied by the governor of the province of Relizane and the local authorities, visited the Khaireddine brothers’ farm for citrus production (a private model farm), livestock breeding, grain production for consumption, and cattle feeding (tritical).
And during his inspection of the grain production, the minister expressed his optimism about the product, especially in light of the decrease in rainfall during this period, which necessitated the start of supplementary irrigation by all grain producers at the level of the northern states, who have exploitable water sources, taking into account the use of water-saving irrigation devices, given what This process is of importance in securing grain production for the northern regions of the country.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister announced the launch of the process of electing multi-professional national councils for the agricultural people, whose mandate ended in 2023, and this will be in the coming days. The Minister also called on all investors interested in the field of agriculture to prepare for registration through the digital platform ODAS and Who harnessed for this process a third portfolio estimated at 200,000 hectares across several states in the south.
Hani reviewed an investment project represented in the construction of a recreational forest in Jabal Farah, with a presentation on the prevention and control plan for forest fires for the year 2023.
The minister also stated that at the beginning of May, the multi-sectoral national ministerial committee to combat forest fires for the year 2023 will be installed, and as a reminder, all human and material capabilities have been harnessed to protect forests from fires.
During this visit, the Minister was briefed on the equipment of the mobile convoy of forestry agents and civil protection agents. The rural engineering complex’s agents also participate with very important equipment in the afforestation operations and the opening of forest paths.

The minister also visited the grain and dry legumes cooperative of the wilaya of Relizane, where he received a comprehensive presentation of the state’s agricultural indicators, with a presentation on the plowing and sowing campaign for the agricultural season 2022-2023 and preparation for the harvest and threshing campaign.
After listening to the presentation of the Director of Agricultural Departments, the Minister gave several instructions, the most important of which is to plant resistant fruit trees, especially olives, as the region knows good production of olives, as well as investing in the manufacturing industry, especially the production of olive oil, which is considered a quality product in the region, and heading to water-saving crops in line with Climate changes that our country is witnessing, similar to many countries in the world.
The minister also asked the Directorate of Agricultural Interests to accompany the farmers for the supplementary watering program, and stressed the daily and periodic follow-up of the farmers, accompanying them and facilitating all administrative procedures.
As for the preparation for the harvest and threshing season for the year 2022-2023, the Minister stressed the need to provide all conditions conducive to the success of the season, as well as the necessary agricultural equipment, stressing the increase in storage capacities, as he mentioned that it is compulsory to collect all grains without exception.
