Regarding mobile Internet subscribers, the Minister said that a noticeable development had been recorded in subscription indicators, pointing out that the total pool of mobile Internet subscribers exceeded 46 million subscribers (3rd and 4th generation), after the number of subscribers was estimated at 37 million subscribers in 2020.
Bibi Tricky also pointed out that efforts are continuing to provide additional frequency spectrum, which will allow for an increase in the rate of national consumption of the Internet, in addition to increasing the capacity of the international communications network by strengthening and diversifying submarine cables.
On the other hand, the Minister stressed the continuation of improving postal services and bringing them closer to the citizen, especially through their digitization and modernization, as well as the continuation of the development of new post offices, including mobile ones, in addition to strengthening the number of automated cash windows.
