Mr. Laqab said in a speech he delivered at a celebration that he supervised President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the International Conference Center “Abdellatif Rahal,” on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, said that the Ministry had completed the preparation of all applied texts related to the sector within the period specified by the President of the Republic.

Mr. Laqab mentioned, on the occasion, that the various bodies regulating the sector, stipulated in the article, will be installed Organic media lawPointing out that the Ministry of Communications has begun preparing the headquarters of these bodies.

He pointed out that, since mid-April, we have also begun to adapt the work of electronic and print newspapers to the new laws and provisions regulating media work in Algeria, highlighting that files for establishing new newspapers have been received in accordance with the new permit system.

In this context, Mr. Laqab added that the publishers effectively and immediately received activity licenses for the newspapers whose files they had deposited at the level of the Ministry of Communication.

In a related context, the Minister revealed that the book of conditions related to audio-visual communication services will be studied at the next government meeting.
