In a statement to the press on the sidelines of his working visit to the state, the minister said, “The state of Tougret has benefited from a program that includes 29 operations for the sector’s program for the year 2023, for which a financial envelope of 606 million DZD has been allocated for the maintenance and development of sports and youth facilities, to empower young people. This young state enables them to engage in various youth activities.”
Hammad stressed that these programmed operations would strengthen the institutional fold of the sector and ensure an encouraging and appropriate environment for the benefit of youth and children to practice various sports activities in decent conditions.
Among those operations included in this promising program – adds the minister – the rehabilitation of three football stadiums in the municipalities of Tougret and Al-Alia, the completion of a sports complex in the latter, the completion of a multi-sports hall in the municipality of Tebesbest, the preparation and rehabilitation of two stadiums for pétanque in the municipalities of Nazla and Touqart, as well as the maintenance of ten ( 10) Youth organizations.
In the same context, the Minister of the Sector announced the allocation of 120 million DZD to renew the equipment of sports and youth structures, as well as the registration of an operation worth 180 million DZD to complete and equip a headquarters for the Directorate of Youth and Sports in this new state.
In this regard, he stressed the need to adhere to the completion deadlines, respect the required standards, and ensure the rational management of these gains that support youth and promote sports practice and youth activity in this state, which has 176 sports facilities and 29 youth institutions.
The Minister of Youth and Sports had started his visit by examining a workshop for the completion of a semi-Olympic swimming pool in the municipality of Tamasin, where instructions were given to raise the pace of work and remedy the delay recorded in this facility in order to receive it and put it into service during the next summer season, before supervising the inauguration of a football stadium in the same municipality. The foot (500 seats) is artificially turfed.
