The performance tests concern reading performance competencies in Arabic, Amazigh, and French, the competencies of good memorization and recitation, and the proficiency of behavior and etiquette in Islamic education, and the efficiency of implementing instructions and completing basic movements in physical education and sports.

Oral and performance competencies are evaluated starting in the third semester, through continuous monitoring of the learners’ performance and their control over the standards according to the achievement assessment guides for each subject for the academic year 2023/2024, provided that it must end before Thursday, May 2, 2023.

Preparing topics for written evaluations

The topics of the specific joint written assessments are prepared jointly by a group of neighboring inspection districts to ensure the credibility of the assessments, provided that they do not exceed a maximum of five districts. The topics of the joint written assessments for the exam, the marking forms, and the grading scales are prepared by inspectors of the Arabic language, the Amazigh language, and the French language, with the participation of professors from their districts.

The process of preparing topics for joint written evaluations begins on April 7, 2024, and must end before April 18, 2024.

The cohort professor shall prepare the written assessment topics according to the field specified in paragraph 23 of the subjects: scientific and technological education, geography, and civic education, upon completion of presenting all field resources in accordance with the annual plan for building the learning for each subject.

The preparation of joint written assessment topics, by field, their correction forms, and the scales for grading their answers are subject to the achievements assessment guides for each subject (version 2023/2024), which can be viewed and downloaded through the account of the institution’s director, and inspectors ensure that the assessments match these guides.

The topics of the joint written assessments for the examination to assess the achievements of the primary education stage will be printed during the period from April 7, 2024 to May 2, 2024. The Director of Education is responsible for appointing educational institutions to print the topics of the joint written assessments, from among the institutions that have the capabilities to draw in sufficient numbers.

For reference, every student who is studying in the fifth year of primary education, in a primary school or in a private educational institution, registers to take the exam automatically via the digital platform.

The director of the educational institution extracts the list of students registered to take the exam from the information system of the Ministry of National Education, stamps and signs it, and sends it to the Directorate of Education no later than January 25, 2024, making sure to update this list in the information system whenever necessary.
