The President of the Republic receives in New York the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today, Wednesday, in New York (United States of America), the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Jessica Rose Allobo.

The President of the Republic had delivered a speech before the heads of state and leaders of the world at the United Nations General Assembly and stressed that Algeria would work to “harness its rich experience in the field of mediation and give priority to the peaceful settlement of disputes,” noting that “in accordance with this spirit, Algeria will join the Security Council carrying “For the hopes of the peoples of the African continent and the Arab region,” and calling for “relying on an approach based on final solutions to crises by addressing their root causes.”
