The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, approved increases in grants and pensions for retirees, which will be applied at a rate ranging between 10 and 15 percent.
The President of the Republic stressed that the decision to lift pension grants is the state’s recognition and appreciation for the workers’ efforts.
At a time, President Tebboune stated, while chairing the Council of Ministers meeting, that this increase will enable all categories of retirees to improve the living framework for themselves and their families.
The President of the Republic also assigned the Minister of Finance to review the high bank interest rates that are inconsistent with investment policy.
