The President of the Republic conducts a partial movement into the corps of heads of diplomatic posts – New Algeria

Today, Saturday, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, conducted a partial movement in the corps of heads of diplomatic and consular centers..

This measure comes in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.

The same statement explained that “in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, conducted a partial movement in the corps of heads of diplomatic and consular centers, which included 28 ambassadors, 6 consuls general, and 5 consuls.”

The same source pointed out that “these new appointments fall within the framework of improving the performance of the diplomatic apparatus in the face of the current challenges and also aim to ensure optimal support for our national community abroad.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs explained that “these appointments will take effect immediately upon completion of the applicable regulatory procedures.”
