The President of the Libyan Presidential Council receives the Algerian delegation – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Last night, Tuesday, the Algerian delegation arrived in Libya following the floods that swept a number of Libyan cities.

A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated that Minister Ibrahim Murad, accompanied by the Minister of Health, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues, as well as the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, was received in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, by the President of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, Muhammad Younis Al-Menfi.

The Algerian delegation conveyed the condolences of the President of the Republic, the government and the Algerian people to his Libyan brother following the great loss that affected the country as a result of the floods that swept a number of Libyan cities.

The Algerian delegation also renewed Algeria’s unconditional solidarity with Libya and its readiness to stand by its side to overcome the repercussions of the floods by sending all necessary aid.

The ministerial delegation confirmed that Algeria had begun operations to deliver humanitarian aid to the State of Libya, through the air bridge approved by the President of the Republic.
