The National Gendarmerie stops a car driver performing dangerous maneuvers – New Algeria

The National Gendarmerie arrested a car driver performing dangerous maneuvers on National Road No. 44, linking the municipality of Al-Sawarekh and Al-Kala.

Within the framework of the National Gendarmerie Command’s continuous efforts to curb the phenomenon of traffic security, and following the circulation on social media platforms of a 38-second video of a car whose owner performing dangerous maneuvers (driving in a zigzag manner to the right and left) at the level of National Road No. 44 linking the municipality of Al-Sawarekh and El-Kala, without respecting the standards. Traffic safety while exposing road users to danger on the roads of the city of Umm al-Tabul.

The video was published by road users on the social networking site (Tik Tok application), and was monitored by the Traffic Vigilance Cell of the Traffic Information and Coordination Center led by the National Gendarmerie via cyberspace, and thanks to the optimal exploitation of the videos by the Vigilance Cell of the Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie, Investigations were initiated by identifying the Mercedes vehicle and its owner in order to obtain the full identity of the driver and arresting him to present him before the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Kala after completing the legal procedures in order for him to commit acts of violating traffic rules, especially Article 06 of Decree No. 381-04 of November 28, 2004. related to regulating road traffic and also a misdemeanor of endangering the lives of others in accordance with Article 290 of the Penal Code.
