The National Gendarmerie’s services have drawn up a security plan, coinciding with the winter holidays and the end of the calendar year, to ensure the safety of citizens, according to what a statement from the same services reported today, Tuesday.

The same source explained that “the National Gendarmerie, during the winter holiday period that coincided with the end of the calendar year, places its units and various formations in the field in order to ensure the security and safety of citizens and the safety of their property.”

The same source highlighted that the plan “is based on the presence of road security units, regional units, search and investigation teams, specialized teams and other units in the field 24 hours a day.”
