The National Assembly salutes the steadfastness, cohesion and unity of the Palestinian people – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Sunday, the National Assembly Office, headed by Salih Vogel, Speaker of the National Assembly, issued a statement regarding the renewed brutal aggression of the Zionist occupation against the brave Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The statement said: “The Office of the National Assembly, headed by Salih Vogel, Speaker of the National Assembly, while following, with deep concern, the renewed brutal aggression of the Zionist occupation against the valiant Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which has become a scene of shameful international humiliation in the face of increasing colonial arrogance, strongly denounces this… The shameful attacks, and denounces the continued international hypocrisy that applies double standards in its dealings with the just Palestinian cause, through intentional procrastination, blatant bias, and the shameful justification of Zionist bloodshed and its crimes against humanity. .
The Office of the National Assembly salutes the steadfastness, cohesion and unity of the Palestinian people, in their confrontation with systematic Zionist settlement oppression… and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards them by protecting them and empowering them with their legitimate right to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital… It also calls on the UN bodies, led by the Council International Security, to work to enforce respect for international conventions, the principles of international law, and the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, by putting an end to the Zionist occupier’s contempt for international legitimacy. It also calls on parliamentarians in all parts of the world to support the Palestinian people, show solidarity with them, and defend their just cause in all platforms. Regional and international parliamentarianism, embodying the mission of parliaments, and achieving the noble goals of parliamentary diplomacy…”
