The name Khalaf Mohieddine was associated with the JS Kabylie club, which he led to achieve many titles, most notably 8 Algerian League titles, two Algerian Cup titles, the African Champion Clubs Cup (the previous name for the African Champions League football competition) in the year 1981, and the African Super Cup in the year 1982. Khalaf led the Algerian national team in the 1982 World Cup finals in Spain. He and Al-Khader won second place in the final session of the 1980 African Cup of Nations in Nigeria.
