The Minister of Solidarity inspects the Central Crisis Cell to follow up on the developments of the fires – Al-Hiwar Algeria

Today, Tuesday, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues made an inspection visit to the Crisis Cell, which is located at the central level, to follow up on developments in the states recently affected by fires.
The Minister was briefed on the work of this cell, which is charged with following up the activities of the neighborhood cells at the local level, which operates under the supervision of the regional branches of the Social Development Agency, in coordination with the directorates of social activity and solidarity in the states.
The supervisor of the cell gave a presentation on the ongoing emergency field intervention for the benefit of families and people in the states affected by the fires, especially the states of: Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda Bouira, and Tizi Ouzou, where the same cells participated in the process of evacuating and counting the affected cases to safe places identified by the local authorities, in addition to providing initial emergency services represented in psychological support, medical sponsorship and provision of in-kind aid, in order to enable those affected to overcome this difficult stage, in addition to conducting investigations Social to determine the individual and collective needs of those affected.
In the same context, the Minister stressed the mobilization of all means and capabilities in order to help families overcome these difficult circumstances, by intensifying the psychological and social emergency support processes, meeting the urgent needs of those affected, and maintaining full readiness and preparedness at the level of the centers affiliated with the sector that take care of the elderly, paramedic children, and people with special needs.
