The Minister of Interior praises the professionalism of women in the civil protection corps

The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Murad, in Algiers, praised the professional performance demonstrated by women in the civil protection corps, as well as their courage and ability during the various interventions in which they participated among the first ranks.

During his supervision of a ceremony at the National Training and Intervention Unit of the Civil Protection in Casablanca, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Minister praised the “qualitative presence” of women in the civil protection corps, praising the “high sense of responsibility and professionalism in performance” that they demonstrated, as well as their “ Courage and ability during the various interventions in which I participated in the first ranks.”

He pointed out that this corps is considered one of the “honorable models” for the country, through which it highlights “the position that Algerian women have acquired thanks to their will, competence and dedication,” expressing his pride in “the important number of women and the specializations in which they participate, from training to operational and preventive intervention, all the way to relief.” Medical ambulance, air evacuation, and forest fire fighting interventions.”

The Minister of the Interior pointed out that “most of these gains, inspired by the commitments of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, were evident through the constitutionalization of the principles of parity between women and men in the labor market and the promotion of women assuming positions of responsibility in various state institutions, in parallel with his approval of a set of incentive measures for women’s entry.” Sustainable economic development format.”

In this context, the Minister renewed “continuing to accompany the Civil Protection Corps and supporting it with modern means and enhancing the capabilities of its members with the aim of continuously raising its readiness to confront various risks.”

Subsequently, Mourad Rifka, accompanied by the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Bouglaf, supervised the awarding and promotion of a number of civil protection women and the honoring of members of this corps, as well as female journalists from various media outlets.
