The Merchants Union calls for the success of the work in the Eid days – New Algeria

The Union stressed in its statement that “all concerned merchants and economic operators are obligated to work and ensure continuity during the Eid al-Fitr holiday,” stressing that “all appropriate conditions are available for this.”
In this regard, he pointed out the need for merchants to acquire their supplies and fill their shops and warehouses with sufficient quantities of goods to make this continuity a success and avoid fluctuations, considering that Eid period This year it coincides with the weekend.
The Union also called on all merchants and economic dealers to resume activity and return to work immediately after Eid al-Fitr by opening their stores, especially on the next Friday and Saturday.
Moreover, the Union appealed to all merchants and economic operators who are not concerned with the permanence system to volunteer, work, and open their shops automatically during the days of Eid al-Fitr and after it, “to contribute to ensuring market stability and providing all necessary, widely consumed materials at reasonable prices to consumers and to block the way for brokers, intruders, and speculators.”
In the same context, the Federation confirmed that all wholesale markets are also concerned with the maintenance system and will remain open, noting that its state offices are recruited to accompany the merchants of these markets in coordination with the trade directorates at the national level.
Finally, in its statement, the union asked all farmers and producers to commit to and guarantee the minimum level of service and goods to supply merchants on these days.
