The launch of the primary education assessment exam next week, and the exclusion of absentees – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of National Education, Abdel Hakim Belabed, stressed the need to adhere to the instructions and directives for the success of all operations related to the important stations remaining to end the school year, including the national school exams (intermediate education and baccalaureate exams).

Preparations are currently underway for the launch of the exam for evaluating the achievements of the primary education stage in its first session, which replaces the exam for the primary education certificate. And it is represented in understanding the written in the Arabic language, written production in the Arabic language, Islamic education, understanding the written in the Amazigh language and written production in the Amazigh language, in addition to the subjects of history, mathematics, civic education, geography, as well as understanding the written in the French language and written production in French language and science education.

The summons for the primary education assessment exam carry a warning against missing out on the exam in one of the subjects stating, “The need to confirm attendance in all exams, as absence is not allowed, which inevitably leads to exclusion from moving to the average, regardless of the results obtained.” Students are also required to verify the validity of personal data, name, surname, date and place of birth, and to submit a summons during the compulsory exam.

The Ministry of National Education reassures parents that adopting a system for evaluating the achievements of the primary education stage would “give an accurate description of the student’s level of possession of each of the competencies specified in the primary education curriculum by defining and estimating its standard without resorting to granting a (numerical) score that does not reflect the level of his acquisition. these competencies. According to the explanations of the Director of Primary Education at the Ministry of National Education, Muhammad Dhaifallah, the purpose of this method is to conduct a “comprehensive evaluation” of all school subjects, given the link between their competencies and the graduation profile stipulated in the curriculum for this educational stage, and at the same time work to “correct the deficiencies” recorded. The student is ready to join the intermediate stage.
