The Davos Forum classifies Algeria as one of the leading countries in the world – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazaeryia

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani, revealed yesterday, Thursday, that the World Economic Forum “Davos”, in its latest report, ranked Algeria among the “leading” countries in the world in the field of ensuring food security through its national production.
This report indicated that the share of agricultural production per capita “doubled in the last two years, thanks to the effectiveness of the agricultural model approved by the public authorities.”
Hani considered that the transformations that have taken place since 2020 at various levels, “confirms the forward-looking view of the President of the Republic, who included among his 54 commitments, the need to develop an urgent plan to modernize agriculture with the aim of ensuring food security, meeting national needs, and eliminating food dependence.”
