The Constitutional Court participates in the meeting of the heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts and the African Constitutional Councils – Algerian Dialogue

The Constitutional Court will participate in the seventh high-level Cairo meeting of the heads of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts and the African Constitutional Councils, via remote video lecture technology, on November 8 and 9, according to a statement by the court, today, Wednesday.
The same source explained that this meeting, which falls within the framework of the “external scientific activities” of the Constitutional Court, will be held on the topic of “protecting the right to privacy in light of digital transformation.”

He highlighted in this context that a member of the Constitutional Court, Ammar Boudiaf, will deliver, on behalf of the President of the Constitutional Court, Omar Belhaj, an intervention on the Algerian experience under the title “Constitutional protection of the right to privacy in light of digital development.”

The high-level Cairo meeting is considered “a distinguished space to enhance the values ​​of cooperation, consultation, and exchange of experiences between constitutional institutions on the African continent,” the same source adds.
