The army stresses the importance of graduating human generations imbued with the values ​​of solidarity – the Algerian dialogue

Today, Tuesday, the works of the National Forum on “The Role of International Humanitarian Law in the Humanization of Armed Conflicts” were inaugurated at the level of the Military Academy of Cherchell, the late President Houari Boumediene, under the supervision of the Major General of the Academy and in the presence of representatives of the various bodies of the National People’s Army.

According to a statement by the Ministry of National Defense, the forum gave several valuable lectures, which dealt with the importance of international humanitarian law in protecting civilians, civilian objects, and combatants who are unable to continue fighting, in addition to highlighting the humanitarian role in reducing the gross violations of human rights committed during armed conflicts, and discrimination International humanitarian law on international human rights law and highlighting the mechanisms for its implementation, as well as the importance of promoting a culture of peace and peace that enables the formulation of a new global awareness and the graduation of human generations imbued with the values ​​of human solidarity without violating human rights.
