The Algiers Journalists Association condemns the attack on journalist Saeed Batool – Algerian Dialogue

The Algiers Journalists Association issued a statement of denunciation and denunciation following the blatant assault on fellow journalist Saeed Batool, including insults, insults, threats, and an attempted attack against him in front of his family, by an employee of the Al-Abiar municipality.
The statement, signed by the association’s president, Suleiman Abdouche, said: As a result of the blatant assault that fellow journalist Saeed Batool was subjected to, including insults, insults, threats, and an attempted assault against him in front of his family, by an employee of the Al-Abiar municipality, the Algiers Journalists Association strongly denounces such unjust practices. The association calls on all officials, as we are about to celebrate National Press Day, to give great respect to journalists and not to attack them, especially in the growing attacks and blatant threats against journalists, on the grounds that they report corruption or denounce disgraceful practices.
The Capital Journalists Association recalls that the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, attaches great importance to the media family as it is the primary partner in building a new Algeria and contributing to achieving sustainable development.
The Capital Journalists Association renews its absolute and unconditional support for the President of the Republic and his policy aimed at consecrating social justice and rejecting all practices inherited from the previous era, calling on everyone to rally behind the President’s efforts to build a new, prosperous and sophisticated Algeria.
