The Algerian University entered the bet on contributing to development

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, confirmed, on Saturday, in Algiers, that the university has entered the bet on contributing to development by transforming graduates into project holders who contribute to creating job positions.
During a media symposium devoted to evaluating employment processes in various sectors, organized by the Ministry of Communication, Minister Badari explained that “his sector worked to make university graduates a creator of job positions through the establishment of emerging institutions.”
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research indicated that the process, in its first step, recorded “more than 270 innovative projects that can be approved as start-up institutions, with a goal of reaching 700 start-up institutions by the end of the current year, while the rest of the projects are directed to establishing mini-economic institutions, especially with the introduction of the student law.” The contractor, in coordination with the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, emerging institutions and micro-enterprises.”
The minister stressed that these measures would “contribute to absorbing unemployment and creating jobs, as well as contributing to development.”
In the same context, the senior official in the higher education sector highlighted that the ministry worked to “develop training courses related to the professions of the future, starting with the University Technological Pole in Sidi Abdallah, along the lines of specializations in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and nanotechnology.”
On the other hand, the Minister reviewed the data of the digitization of the sector, which records 46 platforms in various services, noting that 2 million and 300 thousand transactions were recorded with the gold card during the last university entry.
