And the National Company for Railway Transport recorded this evening, Friday, the derailment of some train carriages for transporting goods from the track (the wheels of the carriages derailed), in the Boumdfa area (Ain Defla).
The train consists of empty wagons for transporting goods, and the company did not record any human losses or injuries as a result of this accident.
Accordingly, trains heading from Algiers towards Chlef and Oran (back and forth) will be temporarily stopped starting this evening, until a new notice.
The company offered its sincere apologies to its valued customers for the inconvenience caused by this accident, stressing that its specialized teams are recruited to lift the wagons and repair the railway line, in order to allow the resumption of normal operation of trains as soon as possible.
