Some road axes will be closed at the level of the capital, during the evening period, from tomorrow, Tuesday, in preparation for the celebrations commemorating the 61st anniversary of the Independence Day, according to a statement of the interests of the wilaya of Algiers.
In this context, the Wilaya of Algiers informs vehicle owners that “the temporary closure of some road axes will take place during the evening period from tomorrow, between 14:00 and 18:30 pm.”
The matter relates – as indicated by the statement – to the axes from “Martyrs Square to the end of Asla Hussein Street, and from Sofia Park to the end of Zygot Yusef Street.”
Therefore, “citizens are requested to use public transportation to avoid crowding,” according to the statement.
