Students are optimistic about good results.. “BIAM” exams ended in good conditions – Al-Hiwar Al-Jazairia

On Wednesday, more than 800,000 candidates completed the exams for the Intermediate Education Certificate Examination (June 2023 session) across the national territory, which lasted for three days and took place in good conditions, amid the optimism of the students to move to secondary school.

The opinions of the candidates in front of the Action Center varied between “Anan Al-Saeed” middle school in Al-Yanabi’ neighborhood (Bir Mourad Rais), “Belkacem Boushafa” middle school (Belouizdad) and “Reem Al-Bashir” middle school (elements), between optimism and anxiety about the results.

In front of the Belkacem Bouchafa middle school, the student Hussein (15 years old) expressed his optimism about achieving good results in this exam, stressing that the questions of the natural sciences and French subjects that they passed today were within the curriculum and were discussed with the teachers in the department.

He also indicated that the questions of natural sciences were mostly about the lessons of the second semester.

The two students, Rousan and Marwa, in front of “Reem Al-Bashir” middle school, considered that they were able to answer the questions of all subjects in a good way, expressing optimism about obtaining good marks that would enable them to succeed and enroll in high school in the experimental sciences section.

While others expressed their fear of the results of this exam, hoping that the process of correcting the papers would be “fair”, especially in mathematics, as the questions they thought were “difficult”.

For her part, a counselor in school guidance confirmed that the examinations for this certificate were “in their entirety within the curriculum”, as the accompanying students by the educational counselors enabled them to reduce the psychological pressure on them, especially when they passed the subject of mathematics, whose questions confused a number of students.

For reference, more than 800,000 candidates passed the Intermediate Education Certificate exam at the national level, including 383,084 males and 416,977 females, distributed over 2,967 procedure centers, in a tight organizational atmosphere marked by the mobilization of all human and material means to make this important academic event a success.

The students were tested over a period of three days (from 5 to 7 June) in 9 subjects: Arabic, French, English, mathematics, physical and technological sciences, natural sciences, history, geography, Islamic education, civic education, as well as the Amazigh language in a number of states.

The Minister of National Education, Abdel Hakim Belaabed, supervised the official launch of this exam at the Martyr Action Center “Hallas Fatima” in the wilaya of Tissemsilt, where he confirmed that all organizational, educational and security conditions were provided across the states of the country, praising in the same context the efforts of the security services in securing this exam .

The minister also revealed that the results of this exam will be announced on June 25.
