Accordingly, in implementation of the instructions of the governor of the state, and within the framework of embodying this solidarity process, the departments of the state of Mostaganem began, the day before yesterday, Tuesday, to pour financial aid into the postal accounts of the beneficiaries, estimated at 10 thousand dinars, in each of the municipalities of Sidi Ali, Ouled Maa Allah and Tizqait, in order to enable… The families concerned are able to meet the needs of the holy month, as the amount of subsidies was estimated at more than 5 billion and a half centimes, and the number of families benefiting from the grant reached 5,553, distributed among the municipality of Sidi Ali with 3,035 beneficiary families, the municipality of Oulad Ma Allah with 1,208 beneficiary families, and the municipality of Tizqait with 1,310 beneficiary families.
For her part, the Governor of Skikda State, Houria Madahi, chaired a meeting whose agenda was devoted to examining the preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, especially: the procedures for disbursing the solidarity grant. The number of beneficiaries of the solidarity grant for the holy month of Ramadan reached 69,873 beneficiaries as of February 13, when a decrease was recorded. An amount of 651,974,000,00 DZD has been allocated for this operation from the solidarity and guarantee budget for local groups, 48,263,242 DZD from the municipal budget, 25,000,000 DZD from the solidarity budget, 40,000,000 DZD from the state budget, and 20,000,000 DZD from the Zakat Fund.
In view of the sufficiency of this amount allocated to fully support all beneficiaries of the solidarity grant, the heads of the municipal popular councils were tasked with preparing deliberations to recover the financial envelopes that were allocated for this operation on the shoulders of municipal budgets, and directing them to rehabilitate primary schools, with immediate notification of all obstacles presented at the level of treasurers. Municipalities, regarding the disbursement of the solidarity grant, in order to process it in a timely manner in order to ensure the good conduct of this process.
As a reminder, the solidarity operation for the month of Ramadan targets the heads of families with no income, those with a weak income equal to or less than the guaranteed national wage (20,000 DZD), including vulnerable groups taken care of through national solidarity programs, after conducting all necessary administrative and social investigations within various sectors.
