Signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Algerian Economic Renewal Council in the field of agricultural investment – Algerian Dialogue

Today, Saturday, in Naama Province, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development signed a framework agreement with the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, aiming to promote and advance agriculture in Algeria by giving impetus to agricultural investment projects.

The agreement was signed by the Director General of Agricultural Investment and Real Estate in the Ministry, Souad Asous, and the Chairman of the Economic Renewal Council, Kamal Mawla, on the sidelines of the work of the National Forum on Investment Prospects in Strategic Agriculture and the Valuation of Local Breeds of Sheep, organized under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. The glorious Tebboune.

This agreement aims to formalize cooperation between the two parties in the field of promoting agriculture in the country, promoting agricultural projects, especially those that are strategic in nature, as well as exchanging information related to the agricultural investment climate and attracting investors by highlighting the potential and investment opportunities provided by the sector.

The two sides are also committed, under this agreement, to identifying and removing potential obstacles that may hinder agricultural projects in all their stages, from design to implementation and operation, in addition to securing land rights, providing the necessary support services, as well as promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and investing in research and development in the field.
