Signing a cooperation and partnership agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Housing

The Minister of Finance, Laziz Fayed, accompanied by the Minister of Housing, Urbanism and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, supervised the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Finance, represented by the General Directorate of National Properties, and the Ministry of Housing, Urbanism and the City, represented by the General Directorate of Construction and Means of Production.

The Minister of Finance explained – according to a statement by the Ministry – that the cooperation agreement is an additional building block in the path of digitization and modernization of financial management in general and national property in particular, indicating that this agreement constitutes an extension of the agreement that was signed in the past few days with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the national community abroad. .

The same minister stressed that this effort falls within the framework of implementing the programs of the Ministries of Finance, Housing and Urbanism, and the City in embodying the digitization project, through which it seeks to improve the performance of public facilities and ensure the effective and rational exploitation of the country’s resources, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, who attaches utmost importance to the issue. Digitization is followed closely.

The Minister added that this agreement will enable the housing sector to exploit data and data related to land surveying and real estate preservation, which contains more than 18.9 million registered owners, by accessing the nationalized central database at the level of the data center of the Ministry of Finance through the application of the interface that was implemented. Developed by the frameworks of the General Directorate of National Properties.

Fayed mentioned the efforts made by the state in the field of housing and urbanization, especially in recent years, which aim to eliminate the housing problem, provided that the completed programs are directed in the right direction by enabling citizens who deserve housing to benefit from the support provided by the state in this field, to achieve the noble goals in Enabling all citizens, especially those with limited income, to live under the roof of a house that meets the conditions for decent living.

The same minister also announced the launch of the geographical portal “Algeria Space”, which provides basic functions and services directed to citizens and professionals alike, and is considered a specialized search engine in the real estate field that allows identifying survey and real estate information efficiently and enables it to assist in decision-making in the field of planning and other fields.
