Saeed chairs a working session with the Ministry’s executives – New Algeria

After listening to explanations about the association’s status and tasks, as well as a presentation about the sector shipping and Ports, presented by the President of APAMA.

The Minister called on everyone to work together, engage in dialogue, intensify efforts and be rigorous in order to advance the maritime transport sector and achieve the set goals.
He also gave orders to accelerate the work of rehabilitating and modernizing the ports, in particular Port of Algiers Which would be considered typical.
Reviewing legal and regulatory texts to make them more flexible in line with current challenges.
Distributing tasks and specializations to the nation’s ports.
Activating the National Maritime Facilities Committee (FAL).
In conclusion, he asked the association to participate in proposing solutions to overcome obstacles and coordinate with all actors and stakeholders to develop a future strategy in the short, medium, and long term, which would contribute to correcting deficiencies and developing the maritime transport system.
