Saadawi supervises the launch of the second edition of the “Kids Athletic School” sports event – Algerian Dialogue

During his supervision of the opening of this national demonstration, organized by the Ministry of National Education, under the slogan “Our Heroes in Our Schools”, in the presence of the Minister of Youth in charge of the Supreme Youth Council, Mustafa Hidawi, the Minister of Sports, Walid Sadi, and representatives of national organizations and bodies and civil society, Saadawi stressed the importance of this. The competition, which is organized in coordination with the National Federation for School Sports, in “embodying the state’s strategy in preparing future generations,” will be full of knowledge and enjoy health and physical fitness.

He also stressed that the Ministry is working in this context to embody the slogan “Our heroes are in our schools” by contributing to the formation of young people who “will raise the national flag high with full merit in various sporting events.”

For reference, this sporting event, organized on the occasion of commemorating the seventieth anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious revolution of November 1, will conclude with honoring the winners at the team and individual levels, noting that this competition falls within the mini-athletics category, which includes “running, jumping, and throwing” competitions.

In this demonstration, students between the ages of 10 and 11 from the fifth year of primary school, from various parts of the country, compete in various competitions, and in the end the winners are determined according to the points obtained.
