President Tebboune: We will join the Security Council carrying the aspirations of the peoples of the African continent and the Arab world – Algerian Dialogue

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune renewed his thanks to the countries that voted in favor of Algeria in his speech delivered before members of the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday in New York.

The President of the Republic said in his speech: “I renew my thanks to all the 184 countries that voted in favor of my country, a trust that Algeria will be keen to preserve during its mandate in the Council.” The President of the Republic added, saying: “Algeria will seek to embody it in close cooperation with all countries of the Security Council and in the United Nations, and by harnessing the experience “Algeria is rich in the field of mediation, giving priority to political solutions and peaceful settlement of disputes.”

President Tebboune affirmed, saying: “We will join the Security Council, carrying the aspirations of the peoples of the African continent and the Arab world.”

It is noteworthy that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived in New York last Saturday to participate in the work of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations.
